Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to provide onsite psychological services at a residential care facility in Washington County, Texas. The ideal candidate will work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, delivering comprehensive psychological assessments, therapy, and consultative support as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (PhD or PsyD)

• Current license as a Psychologist in Texas

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Current CPR certification (AHA)

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months

• Pass background and fingerprint checks

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy (CBT, DBT).

• Provide supervision to LPAs and clinical staff.

• Participate in treatment planning with IDTs.

• Perform court-ordered evaluations and expert testimony.

• Conduct psychological evaluations related to Competency to Stand Trial, Fitness to Proceed & Determination of Intellectual Disability.

• Crisis response and behavioral intervention.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Attend and complete facility orientation and required training (facility-sponsored).

• Comply with all confidentiality policies (including AUA signing and adherence).

• Maintain proper documentation and readiness to submit training/licensure proof upon request.

• Follow required shift schedule (M–F, 8–5) and obtain approval for any off-hour services.

• Respond to emergency service requests per contract guidelines.

• Follow state and facility regulations and reporting requirements.
