Catering Cook Expectations:
Help our Chef prepare dishes and meals in our scratch kitchen by washing, chopping, cutting, weighing, and mixing ingredients and garnishing finished dishes.
Clean, set up, and break down kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
Cover, label, and date all food products, and follow all food safety rules for proper storage.
Most of your time will be spent in our catering kitchen but there will be occasional events we will need your on-site to plate food and work action stations (carving, sandwiches, etc.)
Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment, as needed.
Work in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines.
Catering Cook Skills and Experience:
Basic knowledge of kitchen terminology
2+ years kitchen experience
Previous catering cooking experience is a plus
Neat and professional appearance
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
For full-time, able to work 40-50 hours on weekdays and weekends
For part-time, flexible scheduling on weekdays and weekends
