Position: Program Analyst or Sr Program Analyst
Reports To: Audit Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Program Analyst will be responsible for aiding and overseeing the Finance and Auditing staff on all aspects relating to the processing and billing of transactions. The Program Analyst will be required to coordinate program workflow, ensuring accurate and timely processing and invoicing, maintaining compliance with program parameters, and play a key role in identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient processes for the accounting team.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work across multiple programs, reviewing and processing invoices, either performed by yourself or team members to review and analyze trip data, research and resolve issues related to the audit findings, and create reports as required.
2. Handle the daily reporting for one of the company’s largest customers ensuring all information is accurate and complete. Investigate any omissions or anomalies before distributing reports to stakeholders.
3. Review, analyze, and manipulate large volumes of data, pointing out irregularities and providing written findings that can be further researched.
4. Manage invoices and communication with providers to ensure steady departmental workflow, promptness in invoicing and payments, and consistent cash flow for providers.
5. Work with Program Auditors on processing provider transaction files. Assist in identifying compliance issues and transactions outside of the program guidelines. Provide documentation as needed.
6. Work with Accounting team to maintain appropriate reports and documentation related to any audits performed.
7. Interact with Customer Service team to resolve any customer billing and account discrepancies.
8. Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize workload.
9. Organize, maintain, and keep audit files and documentation as necessary.
10. Provide support as needed amongst the accounting team.
11. Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
College graduate with accounting and/or business focus. Three years’ experience in accounting or auditing setting.
COMPETENCIES:
Must have an excellent knowledge and be proficient with Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups, filtering and creation of pivot tables. Must have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, able to work both independently and as a member of a team and use judgment to make decisions.
