WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Jersey City, NJ.

Job Function:

Day Shift.

7am - 7:30pm.

Accurately and promptly records all care information in the facility EMR.

Prepares the operating room for procedures and assists with room breakdown.

Assesses, plans, and evaluates nursing care before, during, and after surgery.

Assists physicians during procedures and participates in care for patients under conscious sedation.

Administers prescribed medications, monitors vital signs, applies dressings, and ensures proper specimen handling.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.

2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.

BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Experience in orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgery required.
