WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Step-Down Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Rochester, NY.

Job Function:

Day Shift - Evening Shift - Night Shift.

12x3.

Deliver patient care using the principles of Relationship Centered Care and evidence-based nursing practices.

Assess and evaluate patient needs, applying critical thinking in care planning and management.

Integrate assessment and intervention skills to provide comprehensive nursing care.

Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, transitions, health promotion, and disease prevention.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Current RN license for the state of New York.

2 years of acute ICU/CCU Stepdown experience required; ICU/CCU background strongly preferred but not mandatory.

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association required.

Telemetry experience required; experience with Swanz-Ganz catheters preferred.

EPIC experience highly desired.
