Description
As the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Lead, you will provide strategic clinical and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant speech-language therapy services across campuses. You will oversee recruitment, supervision, and evaluation of speech-language professionals while supporting the development and implementation of effective service delivery systems that directly impact student outcomes.Student Success Metrics

90% of internal and external audits result in satisfactory or exemplary compliance ratingsResponsibilities
Lead the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of all Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) across the organization
Supervise and evaluate SLPs and SLPAs to ensure high-quality, compliant service delivery
Design and implement a standardized compliance framework for therapy services, including a handbook of protocols and procedures
Develop and refine the referral and eligibility determination process in alignment with federal and state guidelines
Oversee procurement and distribution of evaluation and therapy materials to support consistent practice across campuses
Ensure accurate, timely evaluations using diagnostic tools and develop individualized therapy plans based on student needs
Monitor student progress toward IEP goals and adjust service plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes
Lead the development and delivery of ongoing professional learning opportunities for therapy staff
Collaborate with school leaders and multidisciplinary teams to support student success through integrated services
Conduct regular site visits to observe, support, and coach therapy teams
Track student data and prepare reports to inform compliance, program improvement, and professional development needs
Stay current on research-based best practices in speech-language pathology and special education
Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals of the Special Populations department and networkValues

Required:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Florida Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Impairment AND/OR Florida Educator Certificate in Speech/Language Impaired K-12
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred:
Experience working in school-based settings or with charter school systems
American Speech and Language- Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (preferred)
Familiarity with Medicaid documentation processes
Bilingual (English/Spanish)Knowledge and Skills
Deep knowledge of speech-language disorders and evidence-based intervention practices
Familiarity with IDEA, FERPA, and Medicaid documentation requirements
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze student data and lead continuous program improvement
Knowledge of IEP development, compliance monitoring, and multi-tiered systems of support
Ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
Understanding of curriculum development for special education and related servicesPhysical Requirements
