Quality Technician

Job Overview:

Perform in-process and final inspections of CNC-machined parts to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

Work closely with machine operators and engineers to identify and resolve quality concerns in real time.

Communicate with vendors and customers quality teams to master understand of parts showing effort to deliver high quality products made to their specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough inspections of materials, parts, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.

Interpret technical drawings and blueprints, with a thorough understanding of customer specifications.

Utilize a variety of precision measurement tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators, to assess product quality.

Record inspection results and generate detailed reports for the Quality Manager.

Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to address quality concerns and resolve issues to promote continuous improvement company wide.

Assist with maintaining and improving quality systems through consistent communication with team members.

Participate in the development and implementation of quality processes and procedures to improve manufacturing operations.

Maintain a safe, organized, clean work environment, following all safety protocols and regulations.

Efficient application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards.

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship

High School diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in quality assurance or inspection are preferred.

Demonstration of a positive attitude that impacts the existing company culture.

Ability and eagerness to learn new skills and adjust to increased workloads displaying a helpful work ethic.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with production teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to verify meets high quality standards.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions.

A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Ability to maintain focus and accuracy under pressure.
