Licensed Master Social Worker

Job Description

We’re seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to provide temporary coverage in our outpatient psychiatric unit, as part of the Partial Hospitalization Program. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience with acute mental health populations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychosocial assessments for patients with psychiatric needs.

Provide individual and group therapy (experience with CBT/DBT preferred).

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (psychiatrists, nurses, case managers).

Document interventions in compliance with facility protocols.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

Active NYS LMSW license.

Masters in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with acute psychiatric patients.

SCR Clearance (or willingness to complete immediately).

Preferred (But Not Required):

1+ years of experience in psychiatric settings.

Training in CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
