Summary:
The Quality Technician performs all operations related to the inspection of finished products in accordance with all applicable customer and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs quality checks at assigned frequencies to ensure all customer and regulator specifications are met.
Evaluates product defects, deviations and/or discrepancies found during the quality inspection process, and initiates recommended solutions.
Communicates to the QA Lead and/or Line Lead all quality observations and concerns related to the filling and packaging operations.
Performs all work in a manner consistent with the company's quality system and GMP regulations, including maintaining a clean, contaminant-free, and orderly work area at all times.
Follows, promotes, and enforces KDC's safety and environmental policies, practices, and procedures.
Completes SOPs, Work Instructions, and Forms, and other paperwork according to established company policy.
Maintains confidentiality of customer information, and other sensitive and confidential information.
Exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed due to workplace demands. Performs other related duties as required. Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED with proficiency in Math.
Minimum of one year in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of: Good Manufacturing Practices and OSHA Safety Requirements preferred.
Skill in: Microsoft Office.
Ability to: read, comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions including Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions; wear required PPE as needed (safety glasses and hearing protection); work as part of a team; develop and maintain good working relationships; adapt to rotating assignment with a positive attitude and results; self-start with strong work ethic an attention to detail; plan ahead and minimize potential issues as well as to meet company growth objectives.
