RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with the functions of the principals in their absence.
Develops and administers the general routine of the school.
Supervises lunchroom, halls, lavatories, assemblies and property of the school.
Informs the principals of developments within the building and makes recommendations on any matter pertaining to improvement of the school.
Counsels students and maintains standards of student behavior.
Supervises non-licensed personnel as assigned.
Recommends the selection of staff members.
Shares the responsibility of building maintenance.
Participates on committees or projects as assigned.
Develops and maintains positive rapport with and engenders morale of the staff.
Develops and maintains a positive rapport with students and engenders school spirit.
Accepts other responsibilities as assigned by the principal.
QUALIFICATIONS
Current Minnesota teaching license.
Desire to pursue an administrative career.
Demonstrated education leadership abilities
Ability to work cooperatively with others.
Able to attend work regularly and report to work in a timely manner.
Good organizational skills.
