Senior Cyber Incident Coordinator

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Incident Coordinator to join our team in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Support activities to maintain and share timely situational awareness of network topology, active threats, and actions that could adversely affect the informational environment

Share timely situational awareness of overall health and status of information environment defenses

Support activities to receive, resolve conflicts, coordinate, and share event information and reporting on incident responses, network outages, threats, and classified information spills

Support Mission Manager in the creation and escalation of cyber incident cases and reporting

Receive and generate information system security alerts, advisories, and directives from designated organizations for all information environments, networks, and systems

Generate cyber threat products based on known, perceived, and understood threats affection communication systems and networks

Create, disseminate, and report executive summary on all cyber incidents

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional cyber experience in lieu of degree

5+ years of IT or cyber experience

Experience working with computer desktop packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Strong time management and multitasking skills as well as attention to detail as we well as strong collaborative skills and proven ability to work in a diverse team of security professionals.

IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with information security practices, networks, software, and hardware

Experience working with cyber operations and security architecture

Ability to make decisions and resolve problems effectively – Seek out information and data to evaluate, prioritize and formulate best solution or practice.

Understanding of latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.

Clearance Requirements:

Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
