Cornerstone Staffing is hiring Assembly Mechanics to support the assembly and overhaul of jet engines for a leading aerospace manufacturer.
This is a great opportunity to work with precision components in a dynamic and high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble new and rebuilt jet engines, from sub-assemblies to full unit buildouts.
Follow detailed tool lists, bills of materials (BOMs), and step-by-step instructions (paper and digital). Perform work at benches and on hanging engine assemblies, both sitting and standing.
Complete builds that range from 500–1000 hours per engine.
Self-inspect and peer-inspect work using provided inspection sheets.
Use both manual and powered hand tools, including torque wrenches with specified torque values.
Operate hoists and pallet jacks for moving parts and assemblies.
