Maintenance Technician II

Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels for maintenance tools, equipment, and parts.

Receive, store, and issue maintenance parts and supplies.

Update records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or inventory software.

Maintenance Support: Assist maintenance technicians with troubleshooting and minor repairs.

Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.

Help maintain a clean and safe maintenance area.

Warehouse Duties: Organize parts and tools within the warehouse for easy access.

Handle shipping and receiving of parts and equipment.

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.

Documentation & Reporting: Log usage of parts and tools.

Assist in generating maintenance reports and tracking work orders.

Follow safety protocols and report hazards or incidents.

Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (some employers may require post-secondary training). 2–4 years of experience in maintenance or warehouse operations.

Familiarity with CMMS systems and inventory software.

Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Forklift certification may be required.
