We are seeking an experienced Senior Practice Manager Primary Care who is responsible for the management and leadership of the administrative and clinical operations of our new MedOne Primary Care service line.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists COO and other senior leaders in the design, planning and opening of a new primary care practice
Responsible for the overall operations and growth of the company’s primary care practice(s)
Works collaboratively and effectively across all of MedOne to achieve MedOne’s goals
Effectively communicates with providers to ensure smooth practice launch and operations
Reviews MedOne primary care revenue cycle data to monitor on-going performance, identify trends and formulate plans to improve performance
Maintains accurate knowledge of the latest coding requirements to ensure compliance and maximize billing opportunities
Assists with IT tools and projects that support the practice
Assists with business development, can budget and provide financial projections to forecast profitability
Assists with bundle and value initiatives involving the transition of care from to/from hospitals and post-acute service lines to better control referrals to MedOne practices and partners
Provides oversight to the physician schedule development
Maintains accurate knowledge of compliance and regulatory concerns to ensure practice meets all applicable standards
Coordinates with new business staffing opportunities
Works to continuously improve primary care and MedOne processes
Manages front desk and medical assistant staff
Acts as a subject matter expert in all aspects of the electronic medical record
Leads the development, execution, and monitoring of staffing models to project staffing shortages/overages and strategically plan for recruitment needs
Builds positive working relationships with providers; Acts as the point person for any issues and works to actively resolve problems
Builds and maintains positive working relationships across MedOne to ensure seamless communication and robust teamwork.
Regularly communicates progress, relays issues/updates and plans for improvement to Medical Director, Supervisor and key leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: College degree required; Master’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in primary care practice operations required; Demonstration of progressive responsibility required;
Experience opening a new practice desired
