Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Staff Accountant will reconcile the main bank's bank accounts, including the Federal Reserve account and pre-paid expense accounts

• Staff Accountant will be responsible for journal entries

• Staff Accountant will assist with some payroll input - on a monthly basis, entering the commissions into the accounts utilizing Paylocity

• Staff Accountant will assist with ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested

Requirements:

• 2+ years of general accounting experience required for Staff Accountant role

• Clean background check required for Staff Accountant role

• Previous banking experience is a plus but NOT required

• Should understand uploading files, what month to post it to and which GL's

• Prologue, a Fiserv system, is the GL system - our client will train on this system (previous experience NOT required)

• Degree is a plus but NOT required

• Basic Excel skills - Sorting, matching, basic formulas, etc.
