Job Description
Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Process Engineer job supporting our client’s Optical Component Solutions (OCS) and Optical Subassembly (OSA) group in Newington, NH. In this role, you will develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing equipment processes, with a focus on increasing throughput, reducing downtime, and enhancing quality. You’ll collaborate across engineering, operations, and quality teams to drive continuous improvements in a high-tech production environment.
Process Engineer Job Responsibilities:
· Design, validate, and troubleshoot equipment used in manufacturing processes
· Develop and maintain technical procedures, work instructions, and equipment specifications
· Perform feasibility studies, cost analyses, and ROI evaluations
· Monitor quality data and support continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
· Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), capability studies, and root cause investigations
Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline
· Seven plus years of process engineering experience
· Experience with document control systems, ECOs, and modification requests
· Proven ability to optimize manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency
· Lean / Six Sigma certification and hands-on application preferred
· Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC, 8D, or Kepner-Tregoe
