Description
The San Diego Unified School District is recruiting for the position of Planning Analyst.
The Planning Analyst will provide assistance to administrative staff in the data gathering, design implementation, and evaluation of district planning activities and programs.
There is one (1) vacancy scheduled to work 40 hours per week, 12 months per year.
This is a promotional/open opportunity, which means that current monthly-salaried employees receive precedence over other candidates on the eligible list.
For a promotional/open posting, the top ten internal applicants will be provided unless there is an insufficient number and then the list will be supplemented with the top external applicants to make up the ten (Employment Regulations for the Classified Service of the San Diego Unified School District: Article 2, Section 9).
The Planning Analyst will be paid on the OTBS Salary Schedule. Salary Grade: 054. The OTBS Salary Schedule can be found by clicking here.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of training, experience, and/or education acquired through graduation from a recognized four-year college or university with a degree in education, liberal arts, business or public administration, or other appropriate field and two years of recent, related experience, preferably in educational program planning.
