Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory costing, and general ledger.

Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger close processes. Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, reconciliations, and adjustments. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Maintain weekly cash flow forecasting.

Assist CFO with budgets and forecasts, and provide financial guidance to leadership for operational and strategic decisions.

Analyze gross margins, labor costs, and overhead expenses, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.

Support plant managers and department leads with financial analysis and margin analysis.

Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS financial reporting, as well as federal, state, and local tax requirements.

Assist with document preparation for external audits and tax preparation with CPA firms.

Opportunities to assist CFO with M&A activities and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus.

5+ years of accounting/finance experience.

Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.

Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capability.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
