Process Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to optimize and enhance manufacturing processes, ensuring maximum efficiency, safety, and product quality. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in process development, optimization, and problem-solving. In this role, you will work closely with production, the Technical Department, and quality control to improve and innovate processes, from conception to implementation and ongoing refinement.

Essential Duties/ Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize industrial processes to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, safety and product quality

Develop Run-Recipes on product level through Baerlocher's ABB-system

Create and maintain process documentation, including procedures, guidelines, and technical reports

Work closely with cross-functional departments (e.g. production, quality control, maintenance etc.) to support process changes and troubleshoot production issues.

Monitor process performance e.g. product run rates, collect and interpret data and make adjustments to process conditions

Participate in the new product development process for effective product scale up in production

Participate in the commissioning and startup of new equipment, and systems

Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output

Provide technical support and training to production teams on new processes, equipment and best practices

Ensure that processes comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards

Participate in internal RCA's, 8D-Teams and other problem-solving efforts

Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives

Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

+2 years of relevant experience in process engineering or related fields

Strong understanding of process design, optimization, and control

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings

Ability to clearly communicate technical information
