Job Title: Air Vehicle Systems Design Engineer Job Location: Fort Worth TX 76101 Onsite Requirements: CATIA v6 with 3DX Design experience, Design analysis Aerospace Experience Job Description: The Air Vehicle Systems Design Engineer is responsible for the design and integration of power conveyance systems and subsystem installations on the aircraft.

This includes Environmental Control Systems, Fuel, Hydraulics, Mechanical Controls, and other vital subsystems required for aircraft completion.

This role ensures all designs comply with Client Design Best Practices, customer and regulatory specifications, internal procedures, and program directives.

Key Responsibilities: Develop 3D routing for fluid and electrical power conveyance systems.

Generate model-based definitions (MBD), including 2D/3D annotations, detail parts, assemblies, installations, and engineering bill of materials (eBOM). Design structural provisions and support brackets, guided by trade studies and analysis.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and specialty teams to resolve design challenges.

Mentor less experienced engineers and lead design teams in technical solution development.

Execute work in accordance with cost and schedule commitments.

Support design activities with suppliers and teammates.

Apply sound engineering principles and practices to develop innovative solutions to complex design problems.

Required Skills: Proficient in GD&T and general part sizing standards.

Skilled in Electrical Harness design.

Skilled in Piping and Tubing design.

Proficiency with CATIA V5, CATIA V6, or 3DExperience (preferred). Strong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating design activities and providing status updates.

Proven ability to collaborate with customers, internal/external suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of relevant aerospace design or transferable industry experience.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.

Equivalent degrees with relevant experience will be considered.

This client is a US Federal Government contractor and is legally required to hire US Citizens.

US Citizens will only be considered for this role.

Due to the nature of the work, a United States Government Clearance is required to be eligible for the position.
