Accounting Manager Key Responsibilities:

Lead the accounting function, ensuring all tasks align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Stay ahead of evolving accounting standards by researching, interpreting, and implementing new GAAP guidelines to maintain compliance and accuracy.

Oversee daily accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closures, reporting, and reconciliations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate new standards into accounting policies, procedures, and systems.

Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members to foster a culture of success and innovation.

Partner with leadership to evaluate the financial impact of accounting changes and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.

5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on implementing and staying abreast of GAAP standards.
