Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Join our team as a Material Handler in the AXLE MATERIALS division, where you'll be responsible for the storage and movement of materials to satisfy production requirements. This role involves approximately 60% work on a forklift and 40% picking materials by hand.

Responsibilities

Complete PIT equipment training and get certified to drive at this facility.

Properly warehouse materials to ensure efficient storage.

Attend daily pre-shift meetings to stay informed and aligned with team objectives.

Learn and utilize the inventory management system for accurate tracking.

Understand and follow instructions on build tickets and picking documents.

Safely and properly move materials from truck to dock, dock to rack locations, rack locations to picking areas, picking areas to kits, production, and outbound customer facilities.

Adhere to all safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.

Support Quality and Environmental policies and Management Systems.

Perform other duties as needed or required.Essential Skills

Experience with stand-up forklifts

Shipping and receiving

Inventory control

Proficiency with RF scannersAdditional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic production facility with six assembly lines. The shifts are Monday through Friday, with options for 1st and 2nd shifts (3pm - 12:30am). The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt, with eye, ear, and hand protection provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alburtis, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
