Join Our Team as a Service Technician I at Advenir Azora Living!
The Service Technician I is responsible for preparing vacant apartment units for new residents in a timely, efficient, and high-quality manner. This role ensures that all aspects of the apartment are clean, functional, and ready for occupancy, while adhering to property standards and safety regulations.Unit Turnover:
Inspect vacant units and assess work needed for make-ready.
Complete make-ready process including basic repairs, painting, cleaning, and appliance checks.
Replace or repair fixtures, hardware, flooring, blinds, and other apartment components as needed.Maintenance & Repairs:
Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting.
Identify and report major repair needs to Maintenance Supervisor for escalation.Quality Control:
Ensure units meet the company’s cleanliness and functionality standards.
Conduct final walkthroughs of units to verify readiness.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
1+ year experience in property maintenance or related field (preferred).
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong attention to detail.
Time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
