Print Operator (Dry Offset & Flexo) 2nd & 3rd Shift

Job Summary: Operate dry offset and flexographic printing equipment, making sure job specifications are met to customer standards, follow outlined standard procedure. Inspecting finished product to meet quality standards, ensuring print clarity and color accuracy to match customer specifications. Ensure product is being packaged correctly.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for plate changes, color head setup, blanket installation, registration of print on dry offset & flexographic printing machines.

• Complete documentation throughout shift (record downtime, production information, scrap calculation, quality inspection, daily housekeeping tasks).

• Escalate mechanical and process concerns to tech/supervisor/manager for resolution.

• Safely start, load, run, unload, and shut down Printer equipment.

• Produce required number of parts that meet customer and company quality standards in a timely manner.

• Communication with team members, on-shift and during shift hand-off.

• Comply with company policies, including safety, quality and standard work procedures.

• Maintain housekeeping in work areas and adjacent areas throughout the shift.

• Work in a safe and efficient manner.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Teamwork, communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.

• Attention to detail is critical.

• Troubleshooting ability (able to make minor machine adjustments and understand how machine adjustments impact product quality and other aspects of machine performance).

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 1-5 years print operating experience on dry offset or flexographic equipment preferred but not necessary.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.

• Standing/walking for long periods of time.

• Bending, lifting, twisting, stooping, kneeling, reaching with arms and hands.

• Pushing, pulling skids with pallet jack.

• Must be able to pass physical and drug screen
