Quality Inspector (2nd Shift)

Pay Range: $21 - $22/hour + $0.75 shift differential

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team on 2nd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and conformity of parts and dies across various operations including machining, forging, and heat treating. The successful candidate will utilize a variety of inspection tools and techniques to ensure that all products meet the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with various operational teams (machining, forging, and heat treating) to inspect parts and dies using an array of gauges and inspection tools.

Review and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine inspection and testing procedures, specifications, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments needed.

Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work to ensure compliance with specified standards.

Record inspection or test data and quantities inspected, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference.

Use measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers to measure product dimensions and verify adherence to specifications.

Analyze and compute test data as necessary to determine test results and provide feedback for corrective actions.

Requirements:

Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in manufacturing or similar industries.

Strong understanding of inspection techniques and measurement tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
