Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC milling machines, producing precision metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work orders, ensuring high-quality output.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision metal parts according to blueprints.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining operations.
Install and align tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments for each job setup.
Perform machine offsets and tool changes as needed to maintain part quality.
Conduct first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure conformance to specifications.
Monitor machine operations during production runs to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to inspect finished parts.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve machining issues and improve processes.Essential Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC milling machines.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
Ability to perform set-up duties effectively.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic machine shop/manufacturing environment. Choose between 1st shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmyra, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
