Minimum 1+ years intrepreter experience required.

Qualifications:

Certified Sign Language Interpreter (RID or 3.5 EIPA score)

Experience working with middle school-aged students, particularly those with hearing impairments

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other support staff

Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the student and the school environment

Location:

East Peoria, IL

Responsibilities:

Provide interpretation services for the student throughout the school day

Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate effective communication

Attend IEP meetings and communicate with family as needed

Maintain professionalism and adhere to all relevant regulatory guidelines

Continuously assess and respond to the changing needs of the student
