WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Warehouse Inventory/Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory control and asset management operations within the warehouse shipping department. This role ensures that inventory levels are accurate, assets are tracked effectively, and all warehouse processes align with operational goals for efficiency and accuracy, including receiving raw materials (packaging and ingredients). Special emphasis on managing correctly the packaging, ingredients and finished products of Generous Brands (Beverages / CPG). The Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations, reduce shrinkage, and ensure the integrity of warehouse data systems.
Leadership, direction and development of a team of assistant managers and their reports.
Responsible for planning, hiring, training, assigning and directing work; evaluating and developing work performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; employee complaint reconciliation.
Coach and provide performance feedback via appraisals and discipline as needed on enforcing policies, procedures and performance standards, while creating a safe, friendly and team-oriented working environment.
Uphold and exhibit standards for departmental and individual integrity and fairness/consistency.
Work and/or attend meetings during other shifts (including off-shifts and/or weekends) as necessary.
Establish, evaluate and implement effective operational procedures for warehouse activities to ensure streamlined and consistent processes
Work with management to create and track the Warehouse operating budget and capital projects, and as applicable take appropriate actions to ensure that the goals are achieved
Provide leadership to ensure the Warehouse meets or exceeds the goals and KPI's in critical areas such as safety, quality, service (fill-rate, on time shipment, etc.) cost, efficiency, sanitation, utilization, and any other objective set by the department
Provide analysis for monthly, quarterly and annual business unit reports
Ensure the proper maintenance, cleanliness, and operational readiness of the warehouse facility and all related equipment, in compliance with safety and operational standards
Regularly evaluate warehouse systems, tools, and operational processes within assigned areas to identify opportunities for improvement and support continues efficiency and performance enhancements
Work closely with various departments to optimize productivity and enhance customer service, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across the organization
Oversee daily warehouse activities, identifying opportunities for process enhancements, and providing recommendations for tools and system upgrades to ensure continuous operational efficiency
Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment and awareness of goals and KPI's, discuss issues/challenges, gather feedback from floor leadership, communication of organizational and policy changes, etc.
Ensure compliance of food safety regulatory and corporate standards in their respective areas
Responsible for warehouse personnel safety compliance and training programs
Direct communication and coordination of timely physical and systematic product receipt, organization, capacity and storage of product in the warehouse with special emphasis on Generous Brands raw materials (packaging and ingredients)
Ensure coordination and consistency between shifts
Oversee and maintain accurate inventory control processes, including cycle counts, audit programs, shrink reduction, fill rate optimization, and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) compliance, with especial emphasis on Generous Brands raw materials (packaging and ingredients)
Receive all raw materials (packaging and ingredients) into the warehouse, manage storage configuration and warehouse layout planning, coordinate product movements to offsite storage locations when necessary to optimize and operational efficiency within warehouse capacity restraints
Responsible for inspections, audits, repairs, preventable maintenance for over 2000 assets and various other items related to the Warehouse (owned and rentals)
Monitor and review system reports and date across Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms to ensure inventory accuracy, transaction integrity, and system performance
Responsible for maintain adequate inventories of rented assets to ensure smooth operations
Work with Accounts Payable to ensure that vendors are accurately and timely paid
Reconcile physical inventory with system records, investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain accuracy of packaging, raw materials and finished goods, especially on Generous Brands items on a daily and weekly basis
Ensure the physical condition of the Warehouse and Inventory storage areas meets company standards, including the upkeep of material handling equipment and safety compliance
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or related field)
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management or related operational leadership roles
Demonstrated experience providing leadership to a diverse and dynamic workforce
Proven experience supervising and directing shift operations in a food production or manufacturing facility
Forklift Certification
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Proficient with email communication and general computer operations. working knowledge of standard business software
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution center operations with a focus on shipping and outbound logistics
Strong knowledge of transportation coordination, carrier relations, and freight cost optimization
Experience implementing of improving warehouse automation, layout optimization, or shipping process efficiency
OSHA Safety Certification or a proven track record of developing and maintaining a safety-first culture
Familiarity with inventory control methods, including cycle counting and just-in-time (JIT) inventory inventory practices
Excellent leadership and communication skills with experience managing large teams in high volume environments
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Environmental exposure – wet/cold (40 ree; or below) or humid/warm conditions (95 ree; F)
Exposure to mechanical parts thast vary from freezing to hot temperatures in excess to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Exposure to hazards sucjh as movin machinery, electrical current, and chemicals
Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations
Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods of time in an upright position walking on both even and uneven surfaces
Ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, using 3-point contact on a regular basis
Ability to stoop, crouch, and kneel on a regular basis
Ability to use hands and arms to grasp, manipulate, and handle objects in one position for an extended period of time.
HOURS & WORKDAYS:
1st Shift – 8:00am to 5:00pm Overtime, Weekends, and Holidays may be mandatory based on business needs. Rotating workday/time off schedules may be mandatory depending on department/business needs as well.
