Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Location: Milpitas, CA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
Audit vendor invoices and track expenses for logistics partners
Assist with month-end close activities and reporting
Prepare and issue invoices to clients, track progress, and resolve discrepancies
Apply payments to open invoices and monitor receivables
Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal departments via phone and email
Support payroll processing and reporting (preferably using ADP)
Assist in logistics and manufacturing costing analysis
Maintain accurate records and perform quality checks to ensure data integrity
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
• Background in accounting; currently studying or completed a degree preferred
• 1–2 years of accounting experience or equivalent coursework
• Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
• Knowledge of payroll processing and payroll tax compliance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to learn manufacturing and logistics costing
