Job Description
Join our team as a Sorter, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards. Your primary responsibilities will include sorting through returned boxes to identify those that can be recycled and reused, while discarding those that cannot. This role requires physical strength, as you will need to lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
Sort through returned boxes to determine recyclability.
Select boxes that can be recycled and reused.
Dispose of boxes that cannot be reused.
Lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.Essential Skills
Experience in production and sorting.
General production knowledge.
Longevity at previous jobs.
Skills in inspection, packaging, setting up machines, quality control, loading machines, assembly, and general labor.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
Ability to consistently lift 50+ pounds.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean and organized facility with a smaller team of 50 employees on the shop floor. Operating on the 1st shift from 6am-2pm, employees may occasionally work 9-hour shifts. The facility is equipped with Flexo and corrugated packaging machines and is typically noisy. This position offers a potential pathway to permanent employment as an operator based on performance.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.25/hr.
