Job Title: Wiring Technician

Job Description

The Wiring Technician will interpret electrical schematics to assemble and wire electrical power systems, including switchgears and panels. This role involves repetitive work in a production facility, requiring the ability to use various hand tools for sub-pan and systems assemblies.

Responsibilities

Interpret electrical schematics to wire and assemble electrical power systems.

Perform sub-panel layouts, drill and tap holes with minimal supervision.

Wire sub-pans, door devices, and other power equipment under supervision.

Wire using wire way and loom, and display ability to wire bundles without loom.

Wire simple relay circuits and perform daisy chaining with common wires.

Perform mechanical assembly on switchgear/switchboard under supervision.

Mount all pertinent equipment according to ISO standards and drawings.

Wire and route harnesses neatly with or without wire loom.

Crimp wires and understand the usage of hardware like screws, bolts, nuts, and washers.

Use hand tools for extended periods.Essential Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Ability to read blueprints or electrical schematics.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Capability to read a tape measure.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Electrical assembling experience.

Point-to-point wiring experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, providing a comfortable and spacious facility. Contractors will sit at a bench wiring panels and switchgears, wearing comfortable clothing. All necessary tools will be provided, and the workspace offers ample room.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of ALPHARETTA, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
