JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for providing ITO (Inquiry to Order) & OTR (Order to Remittance) support to the commercial sales operations team. This position is a cross-functional role and requires effective and professional communication. This position supports $1.6B in annual sales. The key metrics for the role include accurate order entry, and administrative support during project execution. The role also contributes to the commercial team’s success through proposal development and project lifecycle coordination.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as the sales operations team’s primary order interface to requests related to inputs from other functional areas (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Sales)
Manage the end-to-end order booking process—from purchase order receipt to order acknowledgment and all associated commercial activities
Administer post-order activities including internal and external change orders, SAP transactions, and payment milestone management during transformer project execution
Complete customer questionnaires and manage submissions via customer online portals
Proactively communicate schedule requirements to all stakeholders involved in the order process
Maintain professional communication style when interfacing with customers and cross-functional teams
Calculate billing milestones and define payment schedules to support Finance with forecasting and invoicing requirements
Enter complete and accurate order data input into SAP
Support administrative tasks such as database updates, document filing, and general office coordination
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Basic understanding of transformer ratings and key engineering/manufacturing milestones
Strong business acumen with an understanding of sales, profitability, and customer service
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Manage through complex situations and make decisions independently with limited information
Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to internal and external customer needs
Strong coordination and influencing skills
Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills

Required Education / Experience
Associate’s degree or relevant job experience
Preferred Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree
