Summary:
Oversee, train, and direct the janitorial staff on site to ensure that all employees are kept safe and the customer’s quality expectations are met or exceeded.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and train the work of the janitorial staff in the building.
Designate shift and area work assignments.
Manage and employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately. Document and report to management or HR.
Review employee timekeeping to ensure compliance with timekeeping rule and complete payroll documents to ensure all employee time is paid correctly.
Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify any quality concerns or project work needed; complete and submit inspection reports.
Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management.
Use floor cleaning equipment as needed (i.e. buffer, walk behind, spot-carpet cleaner).
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory.
Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints.
Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
Complete training courses as required.
Requirements:
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Must have basic understanding of Microsoft Office Apps, including Outlook and Excel
3+ years of janitorial experience preferred
Flexibility in hours when needed
Must be of good energy, and able to accomplish multiple tasks quickly
Ability to perform detailed communication with employees, management, and client
Must be able to work safely in a clean room manufacturing environment, utilizing safety glasses, clean room suits, and understanding the danger of acids and bases
Ability to cover missing team members when needed
