**Job Description**

Join our team in a dynamic steel fabrication shop where you will be engaged in welding, building, fitting, and cutting steel into structures for various projects, including but not limited to bridges, dams, and buildings. Your role will involve measuring, cutting, and welding steel to create sturdy and reliable structures.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform flux core welding on steel structures.

+ Measure, cut, and weld steel components accurately.

+ Fabricate and weld steel or metal parts for various projects.

+ Work with structural steel and beams, ensuring precision and quality.

+ Interpret and work off fabrication/shop blueprints, adhering to specific measurements.

**Essential Skills**

+ 1-4+ years experience in flux core welding.

+ 1-4 years experience in welding and fabricating steel or metal.

+ 1-4+ years experience working with structural steel or beams.

+ Ability to work off fabrication/shop blueprints and follow specific measurements.

+ Proficiency in welding stainless steel and fitting steel components.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ 1-4 years experience welding on stainless, mild, or carbon steel.

+ Ability to fit and weld steel beams and parts.

+ Understanding of AWS weld symbols.

+ 1-4 years experience in arc welding/back gauging.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, Alabama.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
