Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to work on a mission-driven SaaS platform that directly improves care for the most vulnerable hospital patients—newborns in NICU and PICU units. As a Software Engineer, you’ll help build and scale technology that ensures safe, accurate nutrition delivery in critical settings, where every second counts. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, agile team that values ownership, continuous learning, and real-world impact. What You’ll Do
Design and develop secure, scalable APIs for both web and mobile applications
Work across the stack and contribute to architectural and performance improvements
Collaborate with technical leads, product managers, and fellow engineers
Participate in DevOps processes to reduce deployment time and increase reliability
Work iteratively in an agile development environment with continuous feedback and improvement
Qualifications
5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong backend development skills with Node.js, familiarity with Java is a plus
Understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
Frontend experience with React or React Native—helpful for cross-functional or short-term support
Strong communicator with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach
Solid experience with databases, cloud systems, and microservices
Bonus: Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, or healthcare/EMR systems
