Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selection of and tool setup, operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines, including milling machines, to produce high-quality parts from raw materials.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
Utilize CAD software for designing and modifying parts as needed.
Perform CAM programming to set up CNC machines for production runs.
Conduct quality checks using Inspection tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
Assemble components as necessary, ensuring proper fit and function.
Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills
Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, particularly with Fanuc controls, currently on HAAS 20 ST.
Strong blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with manual lathes and their safe operation in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of milling machine operations and techniques.
Experience in CAM programming for efficient machine setup.
Ability to use Inspection measuring devices for quality assurance tasks.
Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Mold Making experience a desired plus.
