Job Description
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling passive microwave components using various hand tools in a secured environment. Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on mechanical assemblies such as antennas, filters, frames, and waveguide assemblies. Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds, sit or stand for 4 hours at a time, work from drawings, work instruction, and routers. Capable of working with various hand tools, measuring parts to 002 for trimming, working under a microscope, and mixing / applying epoxies. Ensure completed assignments are defect free and comply with drawing/work instructions.
Basic Qualifications
• Must be able to read and follow written work instructions, assembly procedures, and prints.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical assembly or automotive/equipment repair.
• Ability to manually tighten inch bolts to 120 inch pounds
• Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds and sit or stand for 4 hours at a time.Company Description
