P6 Project Scheduler

Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid to Senior-Level P6 Scheduler with a strong background in telecommunications infrastructure to support large-scale data center construction and deployment projects. This role is critical to ensuring accurate project planning, forecasting, and execution tracking using Primavera P6.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for data center builds and telecom infrastructure deployments.

Integrate schedules across multiple disciplines including civil, electrical, mechanical, and low-voltage systems.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to gather input and validate schedule logic.

Perform critical path analysis, resource loading, and schedule risk assessments.

Generate weekly and monthly reports, including look-aheads, progress updates, and variance analysis.

Support change management processes by evaluating schedule impacts of scope changes and delays.

Ensure alignment with client milestones, internal KPIs, and contractual obligations.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in project scheduling, with at least 3 years using Primavera P6 in a construction or telecom environment.

Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, structured cabling, and telecom systems.

Proficiency in schedule reporting, earned value management (EVM), and schedule risk analysis.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working on hyperscale data center projects or large-scale telecom rollouts.

Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, Power BI, and Excel for reporting and dashboarding.

PMP, PMI-SP, or Primavera P6 certification is a plus.

Knowledge of construction sequencing, permitting, and commissioning processes.
