Job Summary: HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner to support with an outpatient multispecialty Neuro/Ortho/Pain clinic for a part time position.

Qualified Candidates:

Develop protocols and plans of treatment under physician supervision

Must be people-oriented and willing to learn

Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally

Must have strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse patient population

Expected to work with various patient demographics & medical staff averaging 15-20 consults a week

Certified APP with prescriptive authority required

Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas

3 plus years’ experience is preferred and work experience with patients in an outpatient setting

Comfortable seeing orthopedic related conditions along with, back & neck pain.

The APPs role is to see the patient, order the necessary diagnostics, prescribe medications, refer to specialists for surgery or for pain management.

Also, another primary role includes being able to perform knee and shoulder joint injections

The ability to partner with multi-specialty providers in the community to educate on clinic capabilities for patients
