Job Overview:

XCEL NDT LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our operations on the North Slope of Alaska. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, managing project delivery, and ensuring that all activities meet company standards, client requirements, and safety regulations. This position will play a key role in developing and executing project plans, implementing cost control strategies, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in full compliance with XCEL NDT’s quality, safety, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and oversee all activities associated with projects on the North Slope, ensuring successful execution and delivery.

Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, contractors, and internal team members.

Provide clear direction to on-site supervisors and field teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and performance metrics.

Ensure full compliance with XCEL NDT’s policies, as well as client requirements, quality standards, and regulations.

Develop and implement site-specific plans and policies in partnership with internal teams such as Human Resources and Operations.

Create and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project progress and team performance.

Foster a culture of safety, ensuring all work is conducted with a strong focus on HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards.

Manage project staffing levels to meet needs and ensure the timely completion of all tasks.

Provide leadership and support by maintaining open lines of communication with employees, customers, and other stakeholders.

Ensure all work is executed with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, while adhering to company and project specifications.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in project management, with a track record of managing complex projects in remote locations.

Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to manage teams and communicate effectively.

Extensive experience in mechanical integrity and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) services.

Familiarity with project control and management software (PCMS, IDMS preferred).

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Project).

Physical Requirements:

The position may require occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work in challenging and remote environments, with flexibility in travel schedules.
