What will you do as a Special Procedure Technologist II- IR/Angio?
Perform advanced interventional and diagnostic procedures using fluoroscopy and CT (if applicable)
Support vascular and bedside procedures, scrub, circulate, and monitor as needed
Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and technologists on patient care and procedure execution
Operate imaging equipment and maintain documentation, quality standards, and infection control protocols
Assist with inventory, scheduling, billing coordination, and act as a trainer for new staff
Participate in on-call rotation and assist in hybrid/OR image-guided procedures
Prep patients, explain procedures, obtain histories, and ensure safe, efficient imaging
What do you need to be a Special Procedure Technologist II- IR/Angio?
Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT certification & NYS Radiologic Tech license (with contrast injection certification or obtained within 6 months)
Interventional Radiology experience required
BLS certification
VI certification preferred within 24 months
Proficient as Special Procedure Tech I, with 1–2+ years of experience and on-call background
Fully trained as a level I special procedure technologist
1-2+ years Special Procedure Tech I level experience
6+ months of experience of on call team experience
Assist in tasks during vascular procedures
Perform on call rotation and ability to respond to off hour procedure needs
Physical Requirements:
Lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
Manual dexterity for tasks such as typing, filing, and imaging procedures
Extended periods of standing, walking, and computer work

Salary Range: $27.52-41.27/hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
