Build and ship production-grade features across the stack—from planning and quoting to purchasing and operations
Tackle real-world challenges in applied AI (e.g. GPT, vision), automation, and computational geometry
Make foundational technical decisions with high leverage and low legacy baggage
Work closely with founders, designers, and customers to shape the product experience
Contribute to a culture of speed, adaptability, and learningQualifications
5+ years of full-stack development experience with modern web technologies (TypeScript, React/Vue, Node.js, Python, etc.)
Deep understanding of backend architecture (APIs, databases, security) and modern frontend practices (SPAs, responsive design)
Experience deploying and maintaining apps in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.)
Familiarity with modern dev practices: CI/CD, IaC, observability, automated testing
Built and launched SaaS products from the ground up (ideally B2B/vertical SaaS)
A product mindset—you enjoy working cross-functionally and thinking about UX, speed, and business impact
Adaptable, curious, and comfortable in high-ambiguity, fast-moving environments
Nice to Have
Experience at vertical SaaS companies like Samsara, Benchling, Brightwheel, Choco, Boulevard, etc.
Previous work in quoting, ERP, or manufacturing automation tools
Exposure to devops, infra, and working on a small engineering team where generalists thrive
Additional Information
Due to the nature of the work and export control regulations (e.g., ITAR/EAR), U.S. citizenship is required. This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
This is a hybrid role requiring local candidates. Employees are expected to work on-site at the San Mateo, CA office at least two days per week.
