Job Description
The Multicultural Account Director plays a critical lead role as the liaison responsible for managing end-to-end client needs including digital media planning, strategy, expectation setting, media analytics, reporting and all communications and team management relating to a designated client. This person is a seasoned performance-based media expert that is integrated in partnership with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure excellence and client satisfaction. This role is responsible for meeting all pre-established client KPl's and overall goals to ensure account retention and future revenue opportunity.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Serves as vocal experts who bring insights and perspective unique to the Multicultural markets and manages the individual market and overlapping client needs
• Integrated media planning and execution responsible for managing, coordinating & tracking of projects to ensure flawless execution of all media efforts. End market owner with a full understanding of the client's business and product lines.
• Build and enhance relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure needs are met, positive campaign progression and Refuel is proactively addressing potential account concerns
• Establish credibility with clients and develop custom solutions, events and sponsorships to achieve KPls by being responsible for all aspects from strategy, recommendation, execution, analytics and reporting
• Select effective channels and media types (paid, owned & earned) to deploy, keeping in mind all client parameters including budgets & billable totals. Coordinate with all specialty teams to gather the necessary items to complete each task.
• Works with the client and agency day-to-day teams to identify specific audience opportunities
• Assists with creative consultation, plan recommendations, proposals evaluations and supporting the overall team in delivering custom audience solutions
• Partner with client account team including Account Director and Account Manager to provide excellence in client services, communication and execution.
• Ensure high levels of Customer satisfaction demonstrated by KPI success, client budget growth, and retention/renewal
• Primary point of contact for the client; liaison to Refuel; represent the client interests
• Responsible for ongoing expectation setting and management, ex: budget, timeline, scope for all thing Digital Media
• Leverage knowledge of digital media capabilities to provide end-to-end strategy, planning solutions to meet client goals
• Traffics Projects internally which includes building placements to ensuring proper approvals are obtained
• Continually work with Analytics, Planning and Buying teams for campaign execution improvements/ optimizations
• Bi-Weekly communication of media performance analysis and optimization impact toward goal attainment
• Development and presentation of overall media performance on scheduled Annual, Quarterly, Monthly and adhoc Business Review meetings with key client stakeholders and other client partners
• Possesses minute-by-minute knowledge of all work in progress
• Traffics projects internally ensuring proper approvals are obtained
• Coordinates or directs third party digital vendor services in collaboration with Planning and AdOps teams
• Responsible for Change Requests to notify team of scope changes
Qualifications:
• At least 5 plus years of progressive Digital Media experience managing client relationships in an agency environment, preferably multicultural clients and campaigns.
• BS or BA required, Master's degree a plus
• Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams building strong relationships internally and externally
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver well-organized, clear and concise written and verbal analytical communications/ presentations
• Proven track record of client success, stakeholder management and ability to drive incremental revenue managing
accounts of all revenue sizes
• Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/salesforce.com

• Comprehensive knowledge of media and advertising industry

• Strong attention to detail, stellar follow-up and able to generate strategic creative solutions to meet client needs

• Ability to create demand for spending in targeted consumer segments, specific to the military audience
• Ability to develop custom media solutions tailored to client needs
• Ability to research, and understand the customer's perspective and their competitive options
• Strong public speaking, oral and written communication skills
Other Requirements:
Up to 10% travel required, occasional trips to NYC/NJ office and client meetings as required
Seasonality of the business may require additional work hours
