Gravel Train Driver / Equipment Operator

We are seeking qualified applicants to drive our gravel trains and flatbeds. We service the greater Western Metro Detroit commercial & residential excavating and underground utility along with full site development

We are looking for experienced, gravel train drivers who can operate e heavy equipment (dozer, wheel loader, and excavator.)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Safely drive truck (manual transmission) to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads

Handle and maneuver truck controls for safe loading and unloading of material

Communicate with personnel before leaving to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site

Keep equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies

Maintain contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions

Cooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employees, as well as customers

Perform other duties as needed

operate a manual transmission

Licenses and Certificates

Must have a Class A Commercial Driver's License with double endorsement

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour plus healthcare.
