An opportunity exists for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This role is crucial in facilitating munication and enhancing the learning experiences of students who are deaf or hard of hearing. The position is located in Elk Grove, CA, and spans the academic year from July 29 to May 31, requiring a mitment of 30 hours per week.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., RID, NIC)
Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students
Strong interpersonal and munication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students
Familiarity with various disabilities and their impact on learning

Responsibilities:
Provide interpretation services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, facilitating access to the curriculum
