This is a contract position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.

Integrity Trade Services is partnering with a local utility company to hire a Light Industrial - Wire Cutter.

Pay Rate: $20/hour (DOE)

Job Description:

The Light Industrial - Wire Cutter is responsible for reviewing customer orders and determine the right size reel and the right type, size and color of wire needed to complete the order. Measure and cut wire using machinery. Unload empty reels and reload new reels onto wire machine. Restock and replenish wire inventory. Follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations

Key Responsibilities:

Read orders such as customer, work, shipping, and transfer orders to determine products to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Cutting and spooling all different wire sizes using wire cutting machinery.

Track footages of wire on stock wire reels and updating wire tag marker.

Communicate when wire inventory levels are low.

Convey material and products from receiving area to storage or other designated areas.

Scan, sort and place material on racks, shelves and/or bins according to predetermined distribution center location.

Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.

Prepare parcels for mailing.

Complete cycle counts and verify quantities of stock on request.

Minimum Qualifications

Utility, Electrical and/or distribution experience preferred but not required.

High School diploma or G.E.D.; or

6 months of related experience and/or training; or

Equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications

Looking for an experienced wire cutter that has used wire machines to cut THHN and/or XHHW wire.

Looking for minimum of 1 year of experience, preferred 2 years of experience.

Working Environment

Occasional lifting and pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Forklift certification.

Mix of warehouse and office work environments
