Minimum 1+ years intrepreter experience required.

An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide prehensive munication support in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is designed for a Sign Language Interpreter looking to make a meaningful impact on students' lives from July 29 to May 31, with a mitment of 30 hours per week.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter

Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)

Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively municate with students, staff, and families

Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams

Responsibilities:

Provide interpretation services for students in need of sign language support

Collaborate with teachers and other staff to facilitate effective munication

Adapt interpretation techniques to meet the varying needs of students

Participate in IEP meetings as required to support students' educational goals

Maintain professional standards and confidentiality in all interactions
