We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team in Holland, Ohio. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience in commercial collections and a strong understanding of credit and call center operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills while managing business-to-business accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute business-to-business collections activities with a focus on maintaining positive client relationships.

• Handle a high volume of collection calls and emails to ensure timely payments from commercial accounts.

• Monitor and analyze accounts to identify overdue balances and implement appropriate follow-up actions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and discrepancies impacting collections.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collection efforts and account statuses.

• Provide outstanding customer service while addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding account balances.

• Utilize credit and collections management systems to track, report, and manage account activities.

• Meet or exceed established performance metrics in a fast-paced call center environment.

• Identify and escalate complex collection issues to management as necessary.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of collection processes.• Proven experience in business-to-business and commercial collections.

• Familiarity with credit and collections management systems and practices.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, particularly in a call center setting.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Proficiency in handling customer service inquiries related to collections.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve account issues.

• Experience using call center systems and tools is highly desirable.
