Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting the broader goals of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts
Monitor cash flow and financial performance
File taxes and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Assist with audits and implement financial controls
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) to track and manage financial data
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a small business environment
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders
Speak/write Mandarin is a plus but not required
Monday - Friday
8 hours per day excluding breaks
