We are seeking a Procurement Manager specializing in Equipment Procurement to immediately drive sourcing, contracts, and delivery of mission-critical manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

Lead procurement efforts for complex industrial equipment, including automated assembly systems, robotics, and specialized machinery required for rapid factory deployment.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies, managing relationships with global equipment suppliers to secure optimal cost, quality, and delivery terms.

Negotiate master supply agreements, pricing, financing, and service contracts to protect Union's interests and meet aggressive delivery timelines.

Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to align equipment deliveries precisely with production schedules and operational readiness.

Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, from initial sourcing and contract negotiation through delivery, installation, and commissioning.

Manage vendor performance, proactively identifying and mitigating supply chain risks and ensuring vendor accountability.

Develop robust systems and processes to track equipment status, lead times, and critical milestones, providing transparency and actionable insights to the broader organization.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, equipment procurement, or capital equipment supply chain management, preferably within high-tech, automotive, aerospace, or similar advanced manufacturing sectors.

Demonstrated track record negotiating significant equipment contracts, including complex master supply agreements and financing terms.

Expertise managing supplier relationships globally, navigating vendor constraints, and ensuring timely delivery of critical equipment.

Proven ability to align procurement strategies closely with engineering and production teams, ensuring operational and strategic alignment.

Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, able to manage complexity and maintain momentum in a high-stakes environment.

Bonus Qualifications:

Experience with greenfield factory setups, large-scale production launches, or defense-related manufacturing.

Prior roles involving procurement of automated assembly systems, robotics, and precision manufacturing equipment.

Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in finance, supply chain management, or related fields.
